Undergraduate Students Interested in Research Opportunities: The Denver lab offers different kinds of opportunities to engage in research and scholarly work for undergraduates.  We typically recruit students through on-campus programs, though students are always welcome to reach out to Dr. Denver by email (denvedee@oregonstate.edu) to inquire about opportunities.  Students are typically expected to work 8-12 hours per week in the lab.  Students can perform research for course credit (for example, BI 401), for hourly pay, or as part of on-campus student research programs (described below).

OSU Undergraduate Research Programs
STEM Leaders: provides opportunities for
 diverse first-year and transfer students: first-generation college students, students of color, Pell-eligible).
URSA-Engage: offers paid research support for early-stage undergraduates and transfer students.
SURE Science: provides full-time paid support for students to perform summer research.  Students must be in an OSU College of Science major.
University Honors College: the Denver lab provides an environment for Honors students to develop and perform thesis research.
New Beginnings for Tribal Students: provides paid internship experiences for students who self-identify as Native American or Native 
Hawaiian.
